2026 Hyundai Palisade – A First Look at the Redesigned Interior and Exterior

Tags: , , ,

The current Palisade three-row family SUV offers ample features and options that satisfy most buyers looking for a comprehensive offering. In its standard configuration, eight passengers can be comfortably accommodated while an alternative seven seat configuration including second row captain’s chairs can also be chosen.

Hyundai also offers a hybrid variant with an output of 329 horsepower.

Exterior

The 2026 Palisade marks a striking departure from its predecessor model. Adopting Hyundai’s signature boxy design aesthetic across their SUV lineup, with individual multi-slat headlights used as daytime running lights and roof rails that blend into its bodywork – providing an upscale finish.

Hyundai also upgraded the body by adding aluminum-style accents and bold lighting elements that align it with their electric Ioniq 9 SUV. Its sculpted bodywork is longer and wider than previous Palisades with a squared off rear section for improved aerodynamics.

Hyundai says the new model also boasts a quieter cabin thanks to thicker glass and sound-deadening materials around its windows. Furthermore, an electronic controlled suspension scans ahead of it to adjust dampers for an effortless ride, similar to features found on luxury cars. Meanwhile, SmartSense driver assistance technology such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert and lane-keeping assist will remain available as standard features.

Interior

Palisade boasts an imposing presence with its newly revised front grille and upright headlights featuring vertically-stacked LED clusters, along with its upright hood creating an imposing profile.

Spy shots show that the new Palisade SUV features a larger rear window and longer wheelbase for a more spacious appearance, suggesting more cargo room in its third row.

Hyundai’s new Palisade appears much more luxurious inside, featuring an attractive dashboard made with luxurious materials. A large curved display screen serves as the main driver interface with infotainment and vehicle controls. Hyundai may offer a hybrid version as well; reports indicate a capacity for nine seats on this variant of Palisade Hybrid SUVs.

Technology

The Palisade comes equipped with several safety features to keep you and your passengers secure. Standard driving aids such as blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning ensure everyone remains protected on every journey.

Head-up display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto comes standard. Other tech features such as Wi-Fi hot spot, premium audio system, dual wireless charging technology and more also come as part of this package.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade will provide seating for eight or nine if you opt for its two-row bench option, and can offer maximum cargo room of approximately 18 cubic feet. In its home market, Hyundai also provides a three-seat front bench that makes use of bus lanes; this configuration should give this North American model an edge over seven and eight seat competitors. Safety

Hyundai’s first three-row SUV is one of our favorites, thanks to a winning formula combining spacious interior space with advanced technologies. Unfortunately, below-average fuel economy and an overly busy center console prevent it from earning top rankings among family utes.

Built on the Kia Telluride platform, the 2026 Palisade provides an innovative look in order to compete more successfully against rivals in this segment. Featuring boxier styling with sportier touches and premium-inspired interior touches inspired by high-end furniture pieces.

The front fascia features a taller grille and more upright design, creating an eye-catching first impression. Its distinctive layered block-like light signature can also be seen on its rear end – further setting itself apart with distinct style elements that help make up its identity. Inside is home to dual 12.3-inch screens housed within one single curved panel – the tan upholstery seen here represents Genesis luxury brand design language while pill-shaped air vents and round door handles add further upscale touches to its design.
