The 240-hp Ducati Panigales V4 R motorcycle is built around a race-inspired 998-cubic-centimeter V4 engine. This high-performance machine develops 207 horsepower at 13,500 rpm and is capable of revving up to 16,500 rpm in sixth gear. It is also equipped with a race exhaust, which increases its power output by over ten horsepower. The engine is also equipped with special Shell engine oil, which reduces mechanical friction by 10% and increases horsepower by three-horsepower.
The 240-hp Ducati Panigales V4 R features a new aerodynamic package. The new front and rear wings are much slimmer and more compact than those on the Panigale V4 in previous models. They also have a separate air intake for better cooling of the engine.
The new Ducati Panigale V4 R is due to make its debut in 2023. The updated Panigale V4 R features advanced technology derived from MotoGP and WorldSBK. Its gun-drilled titanium connecting rods help reduce engine vibration and improves traction. The bike also boasts improved braking and acceleration, with an improved steering damper and more. Despite the fact that the new Ducati Panigale V4 R has a more upscale appearance, the 240 horsepower motorcycle is a powerful road bike.
For optimum performance, the Panigale V4 R also comes with an Akrapovic titanium full exhaust system. This system reduces weight by five kilograms while enhancing power by over ten hp. The exhaust also comes with dedicated mapping for racetrack use.
The Ducati V4 has gun-drilled titanium connecting rods, which increase engine performance. Its pistons are also thinner, which reduces friction and inertia. The Engine Brake Control EVO 2 system controls engine braking and has three selectable levels. Its Quick-Shift function helps riders make shifts with partial throttle.
The 240-hp Ducati Panigala V4 R adopts the latest Ducati Quick Shift system, which improves shifting fluidity on all cylinders, whether open or closed. The system also uses different throttle open strategies, which help optimize shifts regardless of the engine’s position.
The chassis of the Panigale V4 R follows the evolutionary direction of the Panigale V4/V4 S 2022 model, which provides fully mechanical suspension adjustment. The Ohlins NPX25/30 pressurized fork has an increased travel of five millimeters, while the Ohlins TTX36 shock absorber offers 20 mm of additional travel. Additionally, the swingarm pivot has been repositioned 20mm higher, increasing rear ride height by 20mm.
The engine of the Ducati Panigale V4 R can reach sixteen thousand rpm in its first five gears and sixteen hundred rpm in sixth. Its specially developed racing exhaust and specially designed engine oil can boost its power to 240.5 hp. The motorcycle weighs eighteen-and-a-half kilograms without the exhaust.
